On December 17th, 2015 York County Shelters signed an agreement with the Brothers to lease with the intent to own the Alfred, Maine property. The lease is for the period of 10 years. About 60 people which included Don Gean the former director of York County Shelters and his family, the Brothers from Alfred, many friends, York County Shelter staff and dignitaries attended this historic event. The signing took place at the Notre Dame Spiritual Center. The Brothers will continue to be a presence on the property which have been our home since 1931. Check back later for more details.
